The all-grey numbering and sleeve striping really provide the Lions with a very unique look that differs from some of the other teams that have gone back to a more traditional look. The removal of the “Lions” lettering below the collar goes against the grain from the majority of the league, too, and while the numbering is a bit modern for my taste, there’s not a lot for Lions fans to complain about. How the players wearing those uniforms perform, on the other hand, might be a different story. Since the days of former GM Tex Schramm, whose vision was to give the home fans a different look each week, the Cowboys have traditionally worn white at home. Schramm didn't like the idea that fans would say the home blue jerseys vs. a white road team every Sunday, so Philadelphia's green or the Cardinals’ red or the Giants’ blue would mix up the color pattern on a weekly basis.
But unlike the former’s collar alterations, the Vikes could go with just a solid white collar to give it a little more pop yet not take away from the overall simplicity of the design. The Vikings are exciting and flashy on both sides of the ball and are a serious threat to contend for this year’s Super Bowl. Much like the Raiders, this is just missing something. Again, simple is fine, but the lack of red is questionable. I won’t argue that it works well with the rest of the ensemble, but this is about the jersey and for me there needs to be an element of red in here somewhere. I could see a couple simple red stripes on the sleeve or maybe a very thin red line that runs a couple inches inside the numbers to make it pop a little more.

Fresh off a championship, the last thing Eagles fans probably want to do is change anything about this team, but am I the only one that misses the kelly green unis?

A beautiful, simple color scheme, even if the entire look is better with the white jerseys of the away kit or the gold pants of years past. The days of teams having just two uniforms are long gone, as teams have as many as five different jerseys to wear during the season, not to mention the seemingly endless combination of helmets, pants and socks that go with each uniform. Australia, however, has a separate green ODI home kit, yellow ODI away kit, and black T20 kit. The home kit is the same colour as the famous "baggy green" cap traditionally worn by Australian Test cricketers, but the yellow away kit is often worn by the Australian team in home matches. Away kits are a recent development in cricket, which has been played in all-white clothing for most of its history.
